Phased Array Antenna Calibration Method Experimental Validation and Comparison

This paper investigates the calibration methods appropriate to phased array in practical measurement setups. The rotating element electric field vector (REV) method, fast amplitude-only and complex amplitude method are compared analyzed same setup. objective is investigate robustness of discussed algorithms with different ranges, or without support on/off operation. A 4×8 uniform rectangular (URA) used validate three methods. results indicate that far suitable be a reference REV present comparable accuracy while provides less accurate this measurement.
